Most of the world's great ancient cultural wonders have been lost in time. To help restore and preserve surviving ones, a new global campaign has been launched by the New Seven Wonders Foundation, an organization established in 2001 which aims to protect cultural heritage. This initiative will leverage global voting online and via telephone to select the world's New Seven Wonders, which will be announced on August 7, 2007.

The MFC team was asked to provide event coordination and media relations support for the press event at the Great Wall of China. This involved coordinating with multiple parties in Europe and China on various details as well as inviting and following up with local and foreign media. MFC also provided translation services and proofreading support as well as on-site assistance on the day of the event.
